Expect Fireworks: Silva and Moran Set for Explosive Title Clash at Fury FC 107
The main event of Fury FC 107 promises fireworks as two of the flyweight division’s most dangerous fighters prepare to collide. In a high-stakes battle for the FFC Flyweight Championship, veteran finisher Jacob Silva (13-11) takes on the surging Paris Moran (12-2) — both fighters bringing firepower, experience, and a UFC call-up within reach.
Silva, who fights out of 4oz. Fight Club in Houston, is no stranger to Fury’s biggest stages. In fact, he’s one of the most respected veterans in the promotion’s history.
“This’ll be my third time fighting for it,” Silva said of the Fury title. “I’m looking forward to it, man. The guy I’m fighting — he’s pretty good. Paris Moran, y’all obviously know him. Dude’s a killer. But so am I.”
With years of experience under his belt and a long history with Fury FC, Silva knows what it takes to put on a show and leave it all in the cage.
“If you don’t know, I’ve done a lot. I was Eric Garcia’s first Cage Combat champ. I was his first Fury Fighting Championship champ. I was his first main event title fight on UFC Fight Pass,” Silva said. “I don’t know how many more fights I have left after this, but you know this one is gonna be a banger, man. It’s gonna be a banger.”
Known for always pushing the pace and never settling for scorecards, Silva made his intentions clear.
“I’m going out there to hurt somebody,” he said. “If it’s not him, it would’ve been somebody else. I don’t really look for going the distance in most of my fights. I look for the finish. What you can expect when you watch me is fireworks. Don’t blink — everything’s quick, fast, everything’s powerful. I look to finish everyone I fight. So my prediction will be: finish.”
Standing across from him will be Paris Moran, a three-time Fury flyweight champion representing Gracie Barra Katy, with additional training at Heritage Muay Thai, Thugjitsu, and Aztlan Boxing. For Moran, this fight represents more than another title shot — it’s a launching pad toward the UFC.
“Man, it’s gonna be a banger. Expect fireworks. I’m bringing it. I know he’s bringing it,” Moran said. “There’s a lot on the line, and we’re gonna put on a show.”
With three Fury titles already under his belt, Moran is aiming for his fourth — and more importantly, a breakout moment on the UFC radar.
“I’ve won the Fury belt three times, looking to make it the fourth time,” he said. “And right now, this is my breakout moment to punch my ticket to the UFC. My goals are to be the UFC champ, but it’s one thing at a time. So I need to make it to the UFC first and then work my way up from there.”
Despite the pressure of a title fight, Moran carries a deep appreciation for the platform that Fury FC has provided throughout his rise.
“Man, my experience working with Fury has been amazing,” he said. “It’s a great show. They do a lot for us, and it’s a great platform to take it to the next level.”
As fight night approaches, Moran made sure to thank everyone who’s helped him on his journey.
“I just wanna say thank you to my coaches, my team, everybody at Gracie Barra, everybody at Heritage Muay Thai, Thugjitsu, everybody at Aztlan Boxing, all my teammates, my family, my friends, my supporters — thank you. Let’s go.”
